P.P.E. periodic examination and maintenance service

The normative UNI EN 365 establishes that every P.P.E. against falls from a height has to be submitted to regular maintenance and periodic inspection. If necessary, proper fixing or disposal elimination must be done. This inspection has to be carried out by a person who is knowledgeable of the current periodic examination requirements, recommendations and instructions issued by the manufacturer applicable to the relevant component, subsystem or system.

A proper foreword to say that I am trained and certified according to the UNI EN 365 normative by the main European P.P.E. manufacturers (PETZL, KONG, CAMP,  etc.) in order to perform such inspections and to offer you management, check and verification of P.P.E. against fall from a height of III category.

Do you know employer’s duties about the choice of P.P.E.?

The Italian law establishes employer’s duties regarding the choice of P.P.E. (Personal Protection Equipment), the conditions of their use and necessary requirements. Moreover, the employer must keep P.P.E. efficiently and ensure hygienic conditions through maintenance, fixing and necessary substitutions according to manufacturer’s instructions. Therefore, P.P.E. not only have to guarantee protection, but they also must maintain such capacity along their period of use.
